Is plate denial for Highway 407 different from 407 ETR's process?

No, the plate denial process is the same. Plate denial is a final recourse to encourage payment of outstanding tolls. It is a legislated process governed by the Highway 407 East Act, 2012.

Notices of Failure to Pay and Notices of Plate Denial will be issued for customers with outstanding tolls and fees for the toll highways. Where these charges were incurred concurrently, notices are consolidated.
